I am a proud military wife and a mother to 2 beautiful girls. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching. I spent several years as a physical therapy aide working with many different clients. I am certified in a HIIT program and enjoy instructing group exercise classes.
I am passionate about health and wellness. Nothing brings me greater joy than helping an individual realize and achieve their maximum potential. I look forward to meeting you!
WHY I BECAME A PERSONAL TRAINER
I decided to become a personal trainer because I enjoy helping people and I want to motivate others to live a healthy, and active lifestyle.
MY FAVORITE PART OF BEING A TRAINER
My favorite part of being a trainer is helping to teach the proper health and fitness techniques and how to incorporate exercise into daily life. The most rewarding part of training is seeing the transformation mentally, physically, and emotionally with my clients.
WHY TRAINING IS IMPORTANT TO ME
I believe clients should have age appropriate programming with specific focus given to cardiovascular and strength training in combination with balance and flexibility training to enhance a healthy lifestyle.

Amanda is always encouraging us and she totally believes in our ability to rise above what we think our limitations are. She modifies exercises when necessary for us so we get maximum benefit from each workout session. Our workouts are well planned, always varied and challenging in different ways each week and we get to sweat it out to an awesome 80’s playlist. Amanda pays attention to every detail to customize each session so that we can leave our stresses at the door and and just focus on each exercise and then leave at the end of a session feeling exhilarated! We have seen our bodies get stronger, our balance improve and our general well being soar! Amanda is committed to improving our quality of life and we are loving the stronger, healthier versions of ourselves!"

"Words can't even begin to say how much I love Amanda. #LOVE my trainer! I have always loved playing sports and going to the gym. Over the last 35 years I have trained with excellent trainers up and down the east coast. Five years ago I went through a terrible divorce and a shoulder injury that left me discouraged and I had to put working out on hold. I gained 25 pounds and lost all of my cardio endurance and strength. I decided last year to get back into a fitness routine and joined Unify. Amanda became my trainer and we came up with a plan to shed the pounds and gain strength and get my endurance back. I am 51 years old so she took into account my previous injuries , the onset of menopause and my life style as a working single mom. She truly understood how discouraged I had become. Amanda listened to my goals and set up a routine and offered suggestions for eating. She stays in contact with me on off days to make sure I am getting my cardio in and offers suggestions for eating that are realistic for someone with my busy schedule. I love to snack and she has offered alternatives to chips that are satisfying and it has made a huge difference. In a few short weeks pounds came off and I am stronger than I have been in years. I am running again and have lost 8 pounds. Amanda's knowledge and constant encouragement has been incredible. I have a long way to go but she has given me a fresh new perspective on staying strong and fit after 50!"
